Not that many years ago, Youth for Christ Burundi staff, volunteers, guests and friends stood on a patch of empty land dotted with cow grass on a hillside just outside Gitega city... and prayed.

The vision was incredible, but resources were few. There was no human answer to how we would be able to build homes for orphans, quality schools and desperately needed health centers. But we stood in faith, knowing that we served a very big God.

And when we prayed... the miracles started.

 

Now that very site in Gitega has multiple Homes, a thriving primary school and a brand new medical center. We also have a second site in Cibitoke which is growing nicely, and a secondary school to be proud of. We acknowledge that everything we have has come from God, and we know that we need him every step of the way.

 

Prayer is the most essential part of our ministry, and we call you join with us in becoming part of what God is doing here in Burundi.
